I am a dreamer — always have been. By day, my mind wandered toward possibility; by night, vivid dreams carried me through shifting landscapes where stories began in the middle, ended without warning, and often returned to places I thought I had left behind. Those dreams rarely followed a straight line. Instead, they moved between light and darkness, clarity and uncertainty, without ever asking permission.

Sueños—the Spanish word for “dreams”—grew from that experience. Layered arcs overlap, disappear, and reemerge, suggesting moments that feel familiar yet remain just beyond explanation. Like dreams themselves, the painting offers no single narrative, inviting each viewer to discover one of their own.

As light moves across its textured surface, new forms quietly emerge while others recede. My hope is that the work encourages us to embrace both the known and the unknown with optimism—and to keep dreaming, even when the path ahead isn’t fully visible.
